Every year our close group of girlfriends from university get together around Valentine's Day and this year it is my turn to host. I still have a few things to do, like the chocolate dipped strawberries and figure out the new chocolate fountain I got for Christmas, but I managed to finish up the small gift packages last night.
They are nothing too elaborate; sometimes simple is best :o) Inside each bag I have put a bath bomb, some heart confetti soap leaves, bubble bath and a package of handmade cards.
Initially I was going to print on some white paper bags (I am seeing that everywhere these days) but happened upon this tag set and fell in love.
I found these tags yesterday and downloaded the pdf only to realize last night when I went to use them that the blog name was nowhere on the paper ... I have no recollection of where I found them so PLEASE, if you know, please let ME know! I need to give credit for these amazing tags!
I printed these heart tags on some thick, white card stock then cut them out.
I attached a sheer pink ribbon to the back and quickly improvised a rosette out of some of the pink tissue paper. I attached the rosette with a glue dot (highly recommend having a stash of those!) then wrote the girls' names on the different tags.
And there you have it ... a easy and quick way to transform a plain brown paper gift bag into something unique and special. I know the girls are going to love them :o)
